Since moving to the west of Ireland in 1989, I have always tried to capture the wonderful variety of landscapes around me in my watercolour paintings. I have been a member of Inis Artists since it was founded in 2001 and play an active part as PRO.

I taught watercolour classes for many years in both Ennis and from home, and was co-ordinator of the Clare Arts Office Embrace Programme for people with disabilities until retiring in 2016.

Retirement presented an opportunity to travel and I’ve had the chance to spend time painting in the Canary Islands, much of the UK, and in many beautiful places in Ireland; sketching the many varied landscapes I have visited.

My work can be seen at our exhibition in Shannon Town Centre and the various Inis Artists exhibitions throughout the year. I am also happy to work on private commissions.
