The Inis Artists members    consist of both professional and highly talented amateur artists based in Clare. The Inis Artists represents some of the major representational artists in Clare today. The society was formed to promote visual art not only in Clare but in the province of Munster and to this end have exhibited widely in many counties.

Admission to the society is by selection and this normally takes place each year, at a time close to the annual exhibition.

 Since the Inis Artists were set up they have hosted Art Exhibitions at venues all over Clare and Munster, including Limerick, Mullingar and Kerry. The Society maintains an ongoing exhibition in Skycourt Shopping Centre, Shannon, Co Clare.
