Since moving to the west of Ireland in 1989, I have always tried to capture the wonderful variety of landscapes around me in my watercolour paintings.

I taught watercolour classes for many years in both Ennis and from home, and was co-ordinator of the Clare Arts Office Embrace Programme for people with disabilities until retiring in 2016.

Retirement presented an opportunity to travel and in the winter of 2018/19 I had the chance to spend time painting in the Canary Islands. The following spring and summer I travelled around much of the UK, sketching the many varied landscapes I visited, and it is some of this work you can see represented here on this page.

My work can be seen at our exhibition in Shannon Town Centre and the various Inis Artists exhibitions throughout the year. I am also happy to work on private commissions.
