BIO

I am a Limerick born artist and love to paint animals, wild seascapes and works of imagination. Mostly painting in watercolor and gouache and drawing in pencil and charcoal, my work is to be found in collections in the U.S. Britain and in Australia.
Following secondary school, I studied as a full- time student at the (old) Limerick school of art and later studied graphic design at night classes.
Exhibitions include in group shows at Limerick City gallery of art; the United Arts club, Dublin; Glor Ennis; Dunamaise Arts Centre; the Courthouse gallery, Ennistymon, and in Shannon Town Centre. A long time member of Limerick art society, I was very surprised and delighted to recently be awarded their Thomas Ryan silver medal.
